CitizenBlue Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 The CitizenBlue Competition (the "Competition") is organised and conducted by CitizenBlue ("Organiser"), a company incorporated and operating under the laws of Australia.

1.2 By entering this Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as any other applicable laws and regulations.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Competition is open to individuals who are legal residents of Australia and are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry.

2.2 Employees, directors, officers, and contractors of CitizenBlue, as well as their immediate family members (spouses, partners, parents, siblings, and children), are not eligible to participate in the Competition.

3. How to Enter

3.1 To participate in the Competition, entrants must complete and submit the entry form available on the CitizenBlue competition webpage. The form requires the entrant to provide their full name and email address.

3.2 Only one entry per person is permitted. Any attempts to submit multiple entries from the same individual or multiple entries from the same email address will result in disqualification.

3.3 The Competition entry period commences on August 13, 2024, at 10:00am (Australian Eastern Standard Time, AEST) and ends on August 15, 2024, at 3:00pm (AEST). Entries received outside this period will not be considered.

4. Prize

4.1 The Competition prize consists of one pair of Adidas x Parley shoes, which are crafted from recycled marine waste.

4.2 The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and cannot be substituted for any cash or alternative prize. The Organiser reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the originally advertised prize is unavailable.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

5.1 The winner will be selected through a random draw conducted on August 31, 2024. The draw will be overseen by a representative of the Organiser to ensure fairness and transparency.

5.2 The winner will be notified via the email address provided on the entry form within 7 days following the draw.

5.3 If the selected winner does not respond to the notification within 14 days from the date of the notification, or if the winner is found to be ineligible, the Organiser reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

6. Data Privacy

6.1 By participating in the Competition, entrants consent to the collection, processing, and storage of their personal information for the purpose of administering the Competition and awarding the prize.

6.2 Personal data collected during the Competition will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Organiser’s privacy policy. The Organiser will not share personal data with third parties, except as necessary to administer the Competition and deliver the prize.

7. Liability

7.1 CitizenBlue and its affiliates, employees, directors, officers, and contractors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from or related to the Competition, including but not limited to any errors or omissions in the administration of the Competition, technical failures, lost or delayed entries, or any injury or damage to persons or property related to the prize.

7.2 CitizenBlue is not responsible for any damage to a participant's computer system or mobile device which is occasioned by accessing the Competition website or for any incorrect or inaccurate information related to the Competition, whether caused by system errors, technical failures, or human error.

8. General Conditions

8.1 The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entries that are found to be fraudulent or not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

8.2 The Organiser reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the Competition at any time without prior notice if any factor beyond the Organiser’s control affects the integrity of the Competition.

8.3 By participating in the Competition, entrants agree to the use of their name, likeness, and any other details provided in promotional materials related to the Competition, without additional compensation or notification.

8.4 The Organiser is not responsible for any technical failures, lost or delayed entries, or any other issues that may affect the submission or processing of entries.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia.

9.2 Any disputes arising from or related to the Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
